Slateshare is an education consulting and upskilling business focused on the higher education market with the mission to accelerate the attainment of higher education.

Centred around the values of integrity, customer service, quality, empathy and responsibility, Slateshare offers services to the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students, those applying for an MBA, or for positions in industry.

The consultancy is led by its owner and Founder, Akriti Puri, who has years of proven success in helping students attain their best outcomes. Oxford and Bayes educated, Akriti has personal experience of success in highly competitive applications for some of the world’s top universities, and she has been using this knowledge to help others for the last few years.

She has a formidable success rate in helping her students secure the place they want by offering them advice and support, choosing the right course at the right university, negotiating the application process with specific assistance for UCAS and interview preparation for undergraduates, postgraduate courses and MBA applications. For those applying for jobs, Slateshare offers CV and covering letter writing expertise and interview preparation.

Over the last decade, we have successfully sent over 1,000 students to over 500 universities worldwide and pride ourselves on giving honest advice that represents the very best candidature the student can be and best shapes their future career.

Background and Idea

Being in the streets of East London in Brick Lane over the last decade has given me a
first-hand experience of the needs of young people and the challenges they face. Despite being creative and resilient, socio-economic barriers prove to be an obstacle to achieving their future ambitions. My lived experience has driven me to share my “slate” of culture, creativity and knowledge with young people and help them become their best future selves. With this mission, I started “Slateshare”. – Akriti Puri, Founder

What do we do?

In order to achieve our mission of creating a fair and inclusive platform of opportunities for young
people within the creative and culture sectors, we impart the prerequisite awareness of the opportunities that lie for them in the future and shape education and skills best practices.

How do we do this?

We begin with a one-hour storyboarding, profiling building, and strategy session, which involves a candid discussion of your background, strengths and how to optimize the process for recommended schools/ roles to arrive at a pool of “Recommended Target Universities/Firms” at the end of this session.

We then work with you to build your CV, letters of recommendation, scholarship essays, and interview preparation representing your best candidature. We are committed to the highest ethical standards with integrity, confidentiality and honesty embedded in our process.”
